What to expect when you order your custom retractable shade project

This section describes the process each Tucson customer placing an order with us will experience and depending on each order, some steps may not apply.  Our team believes the steps of our process are required to ensure you receive the retractable shade you ordered, exactly the way you ordered it. We hope this section will make it easy for you to know what to expect when you place your order.

To get the ball rolling, there are several options to contact us: email, call or visit our showroom. Click here to Contact Us. One of our ShadeExperts will be excited to discuss your retractable shade project with you and schedule a time to come and look at it in person.

We always provide free project consultations with one of our ShadeExperts. We will schedule a time to come to your home or business with a ½ hour arrival window. We will then review your project with you, listening to what your goals and concerns are and finally providing you with suggestions and a written estimate of the proposed work to be completed.

If at the time of consultation an agreement is made your ShadeExpert will provide you with a written contract for the agreed upon work. If an order is placed at a later time your ShadeExpert will mail you an original copy of your contract. At this time a deposit of 50% is collected on all contracts, personal checks, cash or credit cards are accepted.

To ensure that every installation is specified and measured correctly we always have another ShadeExpert verify the measurements, mounting and details of each installation. Measure twice and cut once is our goal for the technical measure.

Our custom shade projects take approx. 30 days from contract to installation. We will schedule your installation approx. 1 week prior, you may check status of your project any time. Scheduling of our service calls & installations are done with a 2 hour arrival window. We do our best to stay on schedule & will notify you if your team is running late & update their arrival time. We are happy to meet your unique scheduling needs if needed, please notify your ShadeExpert of these limitations when the contract is written. It is always our goal to keep you informed.

On the day of your installation your team will arrive at your home during the arrival time scheduled with our office. Your team lead will then walk through the install process with you to ensure your expectations are being met. When the installation is complete and the jobsite is clean up your team lead will walk through your newly installed shade products with you and demonstrate the operation of all parts of your newly installed shade product. Upon conclusion of the final walk through, the installation lead will collect the final payment due.

Quality is a huge priority to our team of ShadeExperts. To ensure the quality is what you need and what we expect, a Quality Control ShadeExpert randomly checks projects. Although your project might not be scheduled for a quality control visit, if you would like one performed let your ShadeExpert know and one will be scheduled within 2 weeks of your installation.

This we are sure of. When the time comes that you need warranty or non-warranty service, please call us right away and we will guarantee a visit from a technician within 5 working days.
